The braking device has a braking controller (16) with a plug-in housing unit (11) containing the electronic components and a solid housing block (12) with a reception surface (17) for the plug-in housing unit, incorporating the magnetically-operated hydraulic valves controlling the brakes and the hydraulic lines. Pressure sensors for measuring the pressure inside the hydraulic lines are incorporated within the braking controller.
