The roller blind assembly has a winding roller(12) accommodated in a housing(11) in a door longitudinal hollow support member(4) extending in the longitudinal direction of the door. A slotted opening(15) is formed in the hollow support member and through it is guided out the roller blind which is drawn off the roller. The door longitudinal hollow support member extends in an upper region of the door box frame, and the slotted opening in the hollow support member and a slotted opening(16) in the door box frame are spaced relatively close together.
