Method to recover atmospheric water; involves using water recovery chamber with refrigerant cooled by cold collectors by night and fluid in heat accumulator heated by solar collectors by day
The method involves using a water recovery chamber (1) having water recovery cells (2) and high power adjustable blowers (3). For night operation, a refrigerant stored in a hold-over coil (7) cools down through cold collectors (6). For day operation, another fluid stored in a heat accumulator reheats through solar collectors (8). The refrigerant is colder overnight and cools down cooling down coils, in which contacting air is dehydrated at day or night to recover water. Heat storing fluid is used at day or night to recover energy provided for operating the facilities or for water recovery. An Independent claim is included for a device for implementing the method.
