The cleaning device comprises a spray pipe (1) with at least one spray head (8) and/or water outlet hole located and constructed so that at least one jet of water (11,12) is delivered approximately at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the spray pipe. The spray pipe preferably has two outlets lying opposite one another on the circumference of the spray head in such a way that water is deflected in an approximate T-pattern. The spray head is constructed so that its outside cross section is not greater than the outside diameter of the spray pipe.
