The rotary grip (H) for a feed drive, e.g. at a drill and especially a trepan drill, has a planetary gearing after the grip and acting on the feed drive shaft. The planetary gearing has a housing (1), a hollow wheel (8) with inner teeth. At least one planet wheel (10) is on a planet carrier (6) with inner teeth, meshing with the hollow wheel. A drive shaft (9) carries a sun wheel (90). The shaft moves axially within the housing to give the gear stages, between two settings for the sun wheel at the planet carrier or the planet wheel. The housing is secured against rotation around the axis (D).
