The arrangement for transmitting and/or receiving a high frequency field in a magnetic resonance system has a common longitudinal axis with the magnetic resonance system, a supporting element defining a bore with first and second open ends and a number of inductive elements and a number of capacitive elements associated with the supporting element. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method of designing an arrangement for magnetic resonance systems; (2) a method of forming an arrangement for magnetic resonance systems for receiving a magnetic resonance signal; (3) a method of forming an arrangement for magnetic resonance systems for transmitting a magnetic resonance signal; (4) a method of forming an arrangement for magnetic resonance systems for receiving and transmitting magnetic resonance signals; (5) a method of converting a complex current density function.
