A release device (15) is provided to separate a clutch (10) in case value of power continuously measured by a measured-value pick-up (14) from reference value in fixed point during movement of an ejection component (1a) deviates only from fixed value. The measured-value pick-up is provided to a position which continuously measures power effected to the ejection component. The clutch couples a drive unit (9) for actuating a press hammer (7) to the ejection component, or separates the drive unit from the ejection component. The ejection component ejects workpiece from a tool (5) after deformation process by the press hammer. The tool has a tool lower unit (4) and a tool upper unit (6) attached to the press hammer.
