The drill is designed to be used for a hand-drill with a power of ca. 500 W for drilling holes greater than or equal to 100 mm in size, and is provided with cutting teeth, but does not have any drilling teeth or other auxiliary components. The drilling teeth are spaced equidistantly apart in the axial and circumferential direction on the front wall (14) of the drill mantle (12), and protrude alternately in radially inwards and laterally outwards directions. The front wall of the drill mantle has a low abrasion end surface. The drill comprises a centering drill (18) surrounded by a concentric drill mantle. The tip of the centering drill protrudes beyond the front wall of the drill mantle. A slit (24) is provided in the front wall of the drill mantle for each cutting tooth in the rotary drilling direction (22).
