Ceramic injection molding process comprises forming a liquid or plastic ceramic composition with a binder; injecting the mixture into a mold and forming a blank; and sintering the blank in a sintering oven. Preferred Features: The binder is made from water glass, i.e. an aqueous alkali silicate solution based on sodium or potassium, or alkyl silicone resin, or a gelling agent, e.g. agarose. The blank is dried after molding in the mold to give a moisture content of less than 1%. The mold is heated to accelerate the hardening of the mixture. The water glass and the ceramic composition are mixed in a volume ratio of 1-12 parts water glass to 100 parts ceramic composition. The alkyl silicone resin and the ceramic composition are mixed in a volume ratio of 1-11 parts water glass to 100 parts ceramic composition. The gelling agent and the ceramic composition are mixed in a volume ratio of 0.5-13 parts water glass to 100 parts ceramic composition.
