Print machine comprises a print forme (3), inking mechanism, ink (24) and drying device comprising tempering roller (15). The inking mechanism is in the form of a continuous type short inking unit with the inking roller (14) having a first rolling-off contact point at which it contacts the heating roller and a second contact point. The shortest transport path for the ink (24) from the inking roller to the print forme is via at most a single intermediate roller.
