Procedure for control of commutation of electronically commutated motor has time calculated in prognostic fashion which rotor will need for running through angle between first and following second rotary position
Time is calculated in prognostic fashion. It is the time which rotor with instantaneous speed will need to run through given rotary angle that lies between first rotary position and following second rotary position at which switching process is to be effected to influence current in stator winding arrangement. During first rotary position run through, reference time is determined and stored. Time difference between actual and stored times is determined and switch process done at predetermined difference in times. A procedure for the control of the commutation of an electronically commutated motor which has : - a rotor (108); - a stator with a stator winding arrangement (102); - a microcomputer (40) and an associated program ; and - an arrangement (110) for the detection of a time at which the rotor in action runs through a given first rotary position, has the following steps. A first time is calculated in a prognostic fashion which the rotor with the instantaneous speed will need for the running through of the given rotary angle that lies between the first rotary position and a following second rotary position at which a switching process is to be effected for the influencing of a current in the stator winding arrangement.
