A ring (14) joined to the one end of the casing (12) connects this to the sleeve (10) sidewall. Fixers round the casing (12) join it to the wall and deform to change from implantation to end setting joined to the sleeve. In this end setting the fixers lie against the wall and expand radially and each consists of a bridgepiece of two hinged (46) elements (44). In the implantation setting the elements (44) extend along the sleeve generatrix (10) only to flap together in their end setting. The ring (14) is made up of two closed rings centered round the endoprosthesis axis and joined to the fixers. The rings deform from a central position with the elements (44) in their implantation setting into an approximated position in which the fixers are in their end position. The ring bridging parts deform plastically so the ring expands in diameter between first and second positions.
