Transfer molding of recycled plastic mixtures containing at least one thermoplastic polyester and at least one modifier comprises: (a) heating and drying the polyesters in a pretreating section; (b) passing the product to a plasticising unit (3) where modifiers are added; (c) passing the molten mixture to an injecting unit (4) and (d) injecting it into a mold (68, 75) which is closed to compress it and form a molding. An independent claim is included for the apparatus used in carrying out the process.
