A rotor (B1 Fig.3) for a fan convection oven comprises a support disc (2) having a driven hub (3) connected to a ring (4) via blades (A1) 1. The blades comprise a single metallic trapezoidal sheet part with tabs 11, 14 at either end divided by respective slits 15, 16. The sheet is folded over itself about a centre line 19 to form the blade, the tabs having been bent at 17, 18 to extend in opposite directions in the finished blade and are used to attach the blade to the disc and ring. Dimples 121,111,141 are formed on the tabs and on one edge of the blade as sites for welding. The blade may be cambered and have a rounded leading edge (Fig. 6).
