A drop rail (5), to which another edge of the blind sheet (4) is fixed, runs parallel to the winding shaft (9). Two guide rails run parallel at a distance from one another, and in them the drop rail is fixed on its end side. The drop rail carries a rotatably located guide disc (26) at its end lying away from the winding shaft. Tensioning mechanism (12) are arranged at each side of the blind. They maintain tension in the blind sheet. Each tensioning mechanism incorporates a winding disc (13) non-rotatively connected to the winding shaft. A first textile tape under tension (15) is fixed by the winding disc at one end. Its other end is anchored in the vicinity of the winding shaft and at least one loop (18) is formed between its two ends.
