A method for covering edges and/or filling holes or gaps formed during the application of photopolymerisable printing plates and photopolymer printing moulds for flexo printing onto a printing cylinder, whereby the edge covering or gap filling material is applied and then cured by exposure to actinic radiation, comprises the use of a special photopolymerisable mixture for this material. The mixture contains photopolymerisable ethylenic unsaturated low molecular weight compound(s) (A), photopolymerisable ethylenic unsaturated oligomer(s) (B) and photoinitiator(s) (system) (C). The (A)/(B) weight ratio is at least 2:1.
