Fixing device of a shoe (1) on a gliding board (3) for the practice of snowboarding, on the snow, comprising a base (6) on which takes place the baseplate (2) of the shoe (1) and which is extended towards the rear of a positive manner by an arch (7) intended to immobilize the heel and by a rear cover (8) on which is capable of abutting the rod of the shoe (1) at the level of the lower leg of the user during a rear edge setting, characterized in that the rear cover (8) comprises: & br / - a first lower part (8a) in the form of a stirrup, disposed in the extension of the bow (7) and being articulated on the one - latter about an axis (9) substantially transverse with respect to the median longitudinal vertical plane of the boot; & br / - a second upper part (8b) extending from the first (8a) upwards and articulated to the - latter by means of connection, in order to permit a modification of the relative position of said second part (8b) with respect to said first part (8a) by the rotational displacement of said second part (8a) about a substantially vertical axis x - x ′ situated in front of the rear cover (8).
