An extruder head (3) for rubber mix products has an entry passage (41) from an accumulator chamber (4) opening into an extrusion orifice (6), through which the mix is formed, and which has a wall (8) cooperating with a rotating roller to define the profile of the product. The head (3) has deburring knives (10,11) for the edges of the extruded product situated immediately downstream of the extrusion orifice (6). A recycling device (15) for the burrs removed reintroduces them into the accumulation chamber (4) directly between the entry passage (41) and the extrusion orifice (6). Also claimed is the recycling device which consists successively of a material collector element (16) having a concave exterior surface (161) carrying convergent ribs (162); an element to consolidate (17) the material into a cohesive mass and a spreading and laminating element (18) to form the material into a flat layer.
