PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin molding material which scarcely generates fluffing in transportation and others and has a good dispersion property of inorganic fibers in the thermoplastic resin. ;SOLUTION: In a long fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin molding material pellets in which inorganic fibers substantially of the same length are arranged in the same direction in a matrix of a thermoplastic resin, the exposure percentage E of the inorganic fibers which is defined by the formula of E=(e/N)×100 at least in one end surface in the fiber direction of the pellets is made 60% or less. In the formula, E is an exposure percentage (%); (e) is the number of inorganic fibers whose cross sections are exposed in at least one end surface in the fiber direction of the pellets; N is the total number of inorganic fibers arranged in the pellets.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
