Procedure involves making support (S) for mosaic structure which is same shape as mosaic structure but with reduced dimensions to allow for thickness of tiles. Lines (L1, L22, Li) corresponding to shape of mosaic structure are drawn on support, which is coated with layer of anti-adhesive material, and tiles (ES10) are then laid on structure in required positions and joined together edge to edge with adhesive. Once adhesive has set mosaic structure of linked tiles can be removed from support.
