The invention relates to a catalyst comprising at least two metals of group viii, chlorine, fluorine and at least one oxide matrix of amorphous. The present invention also relates to the use of this catalyst for the hydrogenation of aromatic compounds contained in the case of charges containing sulfur compounds.
