Acceleration and deceleration sliding block (30) for vehicles of transport system comprises at least one flat part (40) extending longitudinally, capable of working with a roller track for decelerating or accelerating a vehicle. It has at least one second flat part (38), also extending longitudinally, and over a length different to that of the first part. The second part is positioned on the side of the first part. The sliding block is symmetrical in relation to its ideal transversal axis. The first part, at its opposing longitudinal ends, has junction beveled edges (44) for the receipt of successive rollers of the conveyor. The first and second parts are of a single entity.
