The position and identity adaptable text service has a portable unit (Ui). there is an interface (Bai) to an infrastructure allowing text access. There are mobile stations (SMi) in the access zone interface coverage. The mobile stations provide short range coverage within a chosen perimeter which communicates with the portable unit. Access is then given to text messages following the identity and position of the user.
