The training post has an upright (1) with curved prongs (2) at its lower end to anchor it in the soil. An arm (17) is parallel to the upright and forms a fork with the end of the upright. The arm is connected to the post by the second arm (19) which forms a footrest for forcing the post into the ground. One (20) of the prongs can be mounted pivotally to the upright.
