The test head comprises a body (17) in which is a chamber with an opening (24) with an overhanging annular projection (23). Arranged in the chamber are microphone or loudspeaker. Electrical connections are made to the microphone or loudspeaker through the wall of the test head. The overhanging projection serves to surround the microphone or loudspeaker insulating it from outside noise and ensuring good acoustic coupling with the corresponding loudspeaker or microphone under test. An Independent claim is made for a test device comprising two test heads for testing both the microphone and loudspeaker of a mobile phone.
