Fluid aqueous compositions for application to the skin, mucous membranes or teguments, which contain one or more active principles or ingredients dispersed in a vegetable medium which does not have surfactant properties and is rich in phospholipids and glycolipids of a polysaccharidic nature. The dispersing agent is obtained by dispersing a lipid product extracted from gluten and an aqueous solution of polysaccharide. The extract has a high content of phospholipids and a predominant concentration of glycolipids. The water content of the composition is 65-80%. The composition may contain softening, thickening, suppleness inducing, hydrating, texturing, gelling, fluidizing, clarifying or wrinkle reducing agent(s), natural or synthetic aminated acid(s), phytoestrogens or vegetable preparations of phytohormones (soya or red clover extracts in association with aminated acids), perfume and aroma and an antibacterial agent.
