The present invention provides a client with a realistic experience of growing and harvesting plants, fish, through instructions from the client connected to a network. The personal vegetable garden, or operation on a network, comprises: customer terminals (3, 4) connected with a network (1); and a management terminal (2) connected with the network (1) for receiving instructions from a client and reporting on the growth process of plants and fish. The customer terminal (3, 4) decides on a type of operation, soil, seed and fertilizer, and issues instructions based on the decision. The management terminal (2) receives the instructions and executes the instructions for growing and harvesting the selected plants and fish.
