The snowboard has a platform (21), receiving fixings for a boot, which can move relative to the snowboard upper face. One of the platform sides (23,24) is inclined at an angle between 30 and 60o relative to the platform upper surface (5). The inclined side of the platform is supported on the inclined surface (28,29) of an outgrowth under a force (A) exerted by the user's foot.
