The gas-filled hybrid switch has an enclosure (80) containing a dielectric gas, insulated connectors (1a, 1b), a circuit breaker unit (20), isolator units (30a, 30b) on either side of the circuit breaker unit, earthing switch (40a, 40b) for each of the isolators also connect to the principal pole (41) of the circuit breaker and to a current transformer (70a, 70b) mounted on the enclosure.
