The ballistic body armour for the forearm has a flexible sleeve on which rigid armouring (1-4) is mounted. The sleeve can have pockets to receive the armour. The sleeve can be shaped to fit the hand and forearm and can be ambidextrous in a single piece. The sleeve can be held in place by elastic straps (7-14) with hooked pile fabric fasteners.
