The spark plug (15) has two electrodes (16, 21) insulated (17) from each other with a gap (22) between. The spark gap is inside a capsule (18) which forms a cylindrical enclosure inside the engine cylinder. The capsule has multiple holes (24) in its end to allow entry of the air-fuel mixture. The holes are arranged so their axes form a cone shape with the cone summit lying in the spark gap.
