Roller bearing for automobile transmission parts comprises outer ring with flanges extending radially inwards at cylindrical race axial ends and rollers maintained in contact with outer ring race by retaining element
The roller bearing comprises an outer ring (5) with flanges (2,3) extending radially inwards at the two axial ends of a cylindrical race (1). Several rollers (7) are in rolling contact with the outer ring race. A retaining element (9) retains each of the rollers. The flanges have different internal diameters so that their internal peripheries act as engagement parts. Guide surfaces abut on these engagement parts at the opposite axial ends of the outer ring so that their orientation can be detected.
