The jig (10) for assembly of aerospace storage tanks has locking holders for hollow profiles (12,12') with a large number of clamping grippers (14,14') in a common plane and relatively movable. The clamping grippers have alternating segmental and corner forms and cooperate to form a clamping surface to engage a profile. The clamping surface formed by the grippers can be spherical or polygonal.
