The panel (2) has, on its face on the inside of the vehicle, a hollow part (39) for an window raising electric motor (25). Openings (40) in the part (39) allow mechanical coupling between the motor and window raising mechanism (27,29,31,33) on either side of the panel (2). When assembled the motor is in the dry zone and the mechanism (33) is in the humid zone. The door (1) panel (2) has seals (15), see Figure 2, arranged so that when the panel is mounted it separates in a sealed manner the interior of the door forming a humid zone (16) from the interior of the vehicle forming a dry zone (17). The window raising mechanism includes a drum housing (33) directly coupled to the motor. A control housing (45) for electrical equipment (23,25) is fitted in the part (37) of the panel in the dry zone. The housing is formed from a single piece with the electric motor housing (37).
