The ground cleaning device comprises an operating handle (2) connected to a chassis (3). There are two front (4) and rear (5) rotating rollers between which a cleaning band (6) is stretched. The band is put in contact with the ground by tilting the chassis. The chassis is tilted relative to a fixed support point (A,B) by exerting a pressure in a direction F1 on a chassis off center zone (C) by means of the handle distal end (2A).
