Manufacture of coated granules for aromatic, cosmetic and other purposes uses three-stage drying in warm/hot/warm gas flow

The granules are made by coating a core in a turbine with at least one layer of material containing a solution and a fine powder, and drying it after each coating application. The drying is carried out in the turbine in three stages: first gentle drying in a warm gas flow at a temperature of 25-35 deg C; faster drying in a hot gas flow at a temperature of 40-50 deg C; and final gentle drying as in stage one before cooling to ambient temperature.
