Floating modular barrage has rigid tubular construction with male and female end couplings and lugs for fastening skirt

The barrage is made from a series of rigid sealed and buoyant tubular modules with male and female end couplings for joining a series of modules together. Each module has two orifices with sealed caps for optional filling, and the end couplings are in the form of two or three projections which slot together and are fastened by a rod inserted through holes in the projections. The underside of each module has lugs for fastening a rigid security skirt along at least part of the barrage.
