The box, made from a cardboard blank, comprises a belt with four rectangular flaps connected together by edges which form the lateral walls. The belt is ended by a fastening tongue and comprises fastening means to the adjacent wall. On one side is a flap (32) drilled with a hole which engages a neck of a bottle. On the other side is a wedge (19,20) able to be pushed in to two different locking positions of the bottle neck. A wall has a tongue (15,16) cut out on three sides which can be folded inside the box to laterally wedge the bottle.
