The sound detection method has a detector (1) placed on the instrument surface and adjacent to the bridge foot section (2). The vibrations produced are detected simultaneously under pressure at the surface and at the bridge without phase offset. this allows the low amplitude vibrations caused by resonance to be suppressed.
