The tool which is adjustable in diameter consists of a hollow cylinder (1) stopped at one end (5) but with a tapped hole (6) for receiving a threaded shaft (7). An axial slot (2) in the cylinder surface allows the passage and unwinding of an abrasive cloth band stored in the cylinder inside (4). The abrasive band is unwound manually from the inside to the outside around the cylinder to increase the diameter and adapt it to the diameter of the hole to be worked.
