Steering damper for motorcycle has magneto-rheological fluid to vary damping if oscillation is detected

The steering damper has a damping cylinder (8) between the front fork and the motorcycle frame. the damper uses a magneto-rheological fluid which can change its viscosity. The fluid viscosity is changed if an oscillation in the front forks is detected by sensor (13). The sensor can be a fork angle or angle change rate detector.
