The shell is made from an outer embroidered textile layer (2), a thickness (4) of a supple thermoformable material, and an inner textile lining (3), fitted together and thermoformed by applying heat and pressure. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method of manufacturing the shell; (2) a clothing article comprising the shell; and (3) a bra comprising the shell.
