The pneumatic spring comprises a closed section flexible element (20) connecting a lower base (15) to an upper end plate (5) to define a sealed chamber able to support a load. The base comprises an assembly forming a piston (2) which can be moved to and fro in the chamber under the effect of a force moving it towards the upper end plate. The assembly carries a stop (13) located opposite the end plate for elastic parts (16) fixed under the upper end plate.
