The system for assisting a person with only one arm to fish comprises a belt with a spring loaded hook (1) which supports the rod and allows its position to be adjusted. A box (2) on the front of the belt has a needle to assist fixing a worm on the hook. A brush behind this helps to hold the worm while it is being fixed.
