The quadricycle comprises an arc shaped chassis with two side parts (4) and a central part (3) delimiting an astride driving compartment (6). The vertical central part comprises a frontward overhanging extension (8) supporting the steering handle (40). The side parts each carry towards the front an independent steering wheel (9) mounted on a steering pivot (11). Control and transmission parts (30), pivoted by the steering handle, are carried by the extension and directed rearward to abut a transformation mechanism (31) which controls the return and coupling levers (32) carried by the side walls and directed frontward to be connected to the steering pivots.
