The invention concerns an incubator comprising a sealed heat chamber provided with a door, a culture box with several wells, an organism and, more particularly an embryo, being in one of the wells of said box. The invention is characterised in that it comprises externally controlled means for removing the organism from the well wherein it is to place it in another well filled with a new culture medium. The invention also concerns a method for incubating organisms.
