The lens injector consists of a syringe (10) with a main cylindrical body, an ejection tip (13), also preferably cylindrical and of smaller diameter, connected to the main body by a conical section (12), and a plunger (20). The plunger has at least two projecting flexible branches (21, 22) which come together as they pass through the conical section, and have a gap between their tips to receive the upper haptic portion of the lens (1). Where there are two flexible branches they have recesses (25) in their facing tips that form the aforementioned gap when brought together.
