New polysulfided monoorganoxysilanes (I) include a propylene link. The new monoorganoxysilanes are of formula (I). R1 = 1-4C alkyl or 2-8C alkoyxalkyl; R2, R3 = 1-6C alkyl or phenyl; x = 3 ! 0.1 to 5 ! 0.1. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) A method of preparation of compounds of formula (XII) excluding compounds of formula (I) (see Preparation). (2) Diene elastomer compositions comprising a white reinforcing filler obtained by use of (I). (3) A method of preparing the diene elastomer compositions. (4) Articles in an elastomer possessing a body comprising the composition.
