Toddler and adult connecting system, comprises two padded waist belts connected by strap and stowed in pouch when not in use. The connecting system consists of two waist belts (1, 2), one for the adult and another for the child, each belt having a spring hook fastener (4a, 4b) and length-adjusting buckle (5a, 5b). The belts can have covering sleeves (6a, 6b) of a padded washable material and are connected by a long strap (3) with end rings (3a, 3b). When not in use the belts and strap stow in a pouch which can also be used in conjunction with the strap to form a seat for carrying the child.
