Method for remote interrogation of at least two identification badges (161-168) by a computer (10) of a motor vehicle badge access system. The method comprises the following steps: remote interrogation of each badge by transmission of a single interrogation message (21) and, in a receiving step (24), reception by the computer of a first response (28-34) from each badge, when the badge is within a preset range of the vehicle, and in a badge allocated time slot so that the slots do not overlap.
